Speculation Lisa Snowdon has split from fiance George Smart are set to intensify after the presenter was spotted without her engagement ring

Lisa Snowdon has been snapped without her wedding ring amid rumours of her split from George Smart. The 54-year-old presenter has been dating the businessman for 12 years and had shown now urgency to tie the knot.
But now it appears she has called things off all together. Speculation over their relationship had been growing in recent weeks following her recent chat where she said she is currently in a “new chapter of her life”.
Her words, plus the matter of George not being on her social media since January led some to believe the pair had called it quits.
Now, she has added fuel to the fire after stepping out without her engagement ring. Images obtained by Daily Mail showed the presenter on her mobile phone with no diamond in sight.
It comes after she recently told Prima: “I’m 54 now and see this time in my life as a new chapter. It’s important to reframe ageing in a more positive way.”
She went on: “It takes time for that readjustment to happen, but now I’m in this powerful place where it’s about, ‘What do I want? What do I need?’ I don’t have children, so it’s easier for me than mums juggling teenage children, but it’s a powerful time for us to reconnect with ourselves and make big life changes. It’s the second spring.”
Prior to her social media blackout of he man, he had featured regularly. Many fans had been commenting of late about his absence.
When she shared a number of snaps from her recent outing at Wimbledon for the tennis, George was once again nowhere to be seen. Some took to the comments section of her post to point out his notable absence in recent months.
The duo had briefly dated 20 years ago. They reconnected in 2014 and got engaged two years later in 2016.
But despite the engagement she admitted she was in no hurry to make things official with a wedding ring. She previously told Hello!: “A lot of women imagine walking down the aisle.
“They imagine their flowers, their dresses, and I just have never had that vision. It’s just a contract at the end of the day. I don’t want everybody looking at me, which is weird because I do television and hosting.
“I’m just really relaxed and so is George. It will happen, but I just don’t know what that looks like.”
Lisa was recently linked with the Strictly Come Dancing job as she looks to move on in her career. But despite admitting she would love another “big TV presenting gig”, she confessed she was never offered the dance show role.
