
Two toddlers, ages 1 and 3, are now in the custody of Child and Youth Services, after being found home alone with the bodies of their dead mother and her ex-boyfriend for two days before the bodies were discovered, police say.
On Monday, Aug. 3, the toddlers’ late mother, Lamara Baldwin, and her ex-boyfriend Lamont Dunlap were found deceased in their home in Wilkinsburg, Pa., local outlets WTAE, KDKA and WPXI reported, citing local authorities. The Allegheny Police Department said based on the scene, the couple appears to have died on July 31, WTAE reported.
Baldwin, 31, and Dunlap, 42, were dead in the home on Franklin Avenue for two days before authorities found their bodies. Although there were no indications of trauma, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine their cause of death.
