General Hospital Thursday, August 6 Recap: Sonny’s Mob Retirement, Willow’s Restraining Order, Jacinda Drugs Drink

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 6, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) announced a big decision while Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) made a bold move that prompted another one from Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).

At the Quartermaine mansion, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) surprised Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) with the news of his mob exit for Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) sake.

Tracy reflected on this being what Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) wanted for Jason before insisting it was never too late to make a change.

At Sonny’s house, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) worried about who would protect his dad after learning Jason was departing the mob.

Sonny admitted he’d decided to get out of the mob as well, so Dante approved.

In the courtroom, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) clarified that she was estranged from Curtis when she started her romance with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

It was also established that Curtis had moved on with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at that time, too.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got on the stand and suggested Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) must’ve missed the second blink for no when he was interviewed while locked in.

That’s how Drew changed his story about Willow being on the road that night. Drew now claimed Willow was home with him instead.

During Isaiah’s testimony, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) tried to rile him up by suggesting he goaded Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) with the statement about being a better father to his baby.

Isaiah got agitated briefly, but he managed to calm himself down in the end.

After Jordan took the stand, she played up how Isaiah’s visit to her hospital room might’ve been due to guilt over leaving the crash site.

Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) testimony brought a list of all the reasons why it added up that Isaiah was the one who fled the scene.

Molly stressed the fact that there was no hard evidence against Isaiah regarding the crash and that he wasn’t the one who made the fight physical.

When it was time for closing arguments, Molly pushed for justice since Curtis broke the law, but Martin urged the jury not to separate Curtis from his newborn baby.

At the Metro Court pool, Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) untangled herself from Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) after falling in his lap, so they flirted a bit as they exchanged introductions.

Brennan took a raincheck on the drink Serena offered to make up for her blunder and left.

Serena ultimately ambushed Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) by sitting in his chair when he returned from a dip in the pool.

That led to some talk about Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) concerns now that Michael was in control of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) shares.

Michael was fine with Serena working at Deception, but he hinted that Tracy might give her some trouble.

Lucy watched Serena start working her seduction magic in the distance and seemed pleased.

At Bobbie’s, Lucy brought Laura Collins (Genie Francis) up to speed on Serena’s return to town and hoped Serena could catch up with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) once he came home.

Laura confessed that Kevin was sticking around for the fall semester in Ireland, but she hoped to bring Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) back when she went for a visit.

Outside, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) brought a small bag of pills that Jacinda had left at his place a long time ago.

Jacinda acted like she needed something to take the edge off since Willow had her served with a restraining order this morning to stay away from the kids.

Afterward on Thursday’s GH episode, Laura tried to warn Ezra away from Jacinda, but he wouldn’t listen.

Once Brennan popped up, Laura grilled him about why the WSB hadn’t taken Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) into custody.

Brennan explained that Sidwell’s arrest fell under local jurisdiction and offered his help if she still considered Sidwell a threat.

At Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) place, Willow confronted her about complaining to Brennan about her plan to have Drew’s shooting investigation reopened.

Nina argued that that plan could put Brennan at risk too if it came out that he got rid of the traffic cam footage.

Nina eventually found out Willow got a restraining order to keep Jacinda away from the children and was concerned about her daughter antagonizing Michael.

There was some tension as Jacinda showed up with a delivery for Nina soon after.

Thanks to cups marked with Nina and Willow’s names, Jacinda was able to target Willow’s iced latte by drugging it in a moment alone.

General Hospital spoilers say Jacinda’s scheme will come with some unexpected consequences, so stay tuned.
