Following the clues to find out whether Zendaya and Tom Holland really got married turned into quite the odyssey.
Thanks to Holland, that journey finally ended in June, so when the couple embarked on the press tour for The Odyssey, in theaters July 17, they could enjoy themselves without having to play super-coy.
Not that the private pair talked about marriage, per se, but they happily spoke of each other, Zendaya telling E! News at the film’s July 14 L.A. premiere that she got a “peeky-peek” at the script at home after Holland was cast as Odysseus’ son Telemachus. Only a bit later did she get the call about playing Athena and, she admitted, “I didn’t see that coming.”

More than three months after Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach said the couple’s wedding had “already happened,” Holland acknowledged those top-secret nuptials occurred, albeit in a fashion befitting the newlyweds’ historic insistence that their private life is the last thing they want to talk about in public.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” the British actor told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
