This evening (Thursday, July 16), President Donald Trump held a primetime address where he slammed alleged “voter fraud” and accused China of meddling and committing election interference in 2020. While sharing these allegations, Trump continued to push for the “SAVE America Act” ahead of the 206 midterms.
The act is a Republican election bill that late Senator Lindsey Graham had co-sponsored. It would require voter identification in federal elections and proof of citizenship to register to vote.
During Trump’s Thursday night address, he announced that his administration would be releasing declassified material allegedly showing China stealing voter registration files starting in the 2020 election — which he lost to former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump Pushes For ‘SAVE America Act’ During Address To Nation About Alleged ‘Voter Fraud’ And China Election Interference
Trump said the intelligence — gathered by a White House task force and Trump’s intelligence advisory board — shows “The People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history” by allegedly accessing 220 million American voter files.
President Trump continued to allege that the “deep state” — a MAGA Republican term for a secretive group of Democrats and elite individuals — covered up China’s alleged election interference. Furthermore, Trump has long accused the Biden administration of voter fraud and now he claims he has proof — which his administration has since shared on the White House website.
Additionally, Trump also accused various states of engaging in voter fraud by allowing alleged illegal immigrants to vote, etc. While ending his address to the nation, Trump continued to push for the “SAVE America Act” to safeguard the 2026 midterm elections.
