Peking Duk star Keli Holiday has revealed how Leonardo DiCaprio once attempted to hit on his girlfriend at a wild A-list birthday party.
The Australian musician, whose real name is Adam Hyde, recalled the surreal encounter during an appearance on Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy on Friday.
Keli, 35, explained that he was celebrating NBA star Ben Simmons’ birthday when he suddenly found himself surrounded by some of the world’s most famous faces.
‘I remember at the party, there was this big, bald, shiny head – and it was Drake!’ he told hosts Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little.
‘He had his shaved head, I was like, ‘Oh, s**t!’ So, I said hi to Drake and then I got a tap on the shoulder and it was Leonardo DiCaprio and his mate asking for a smoke.’
The Dancing2 hitmaker admitted that coming face-to-face with the Oscar winner left him stunned.

‘I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ That’s as famous as it gets!’ he said.
Tommy was amused to discover that even one of Hollywood’s biggest stars occasionally needed to scrounge a cigarette.
‘I can’t believe Leo is bumming cigs,’ the comedian joked.
However, Keli soon realised the request may have been less about smoking and more about the woman accompanying him.
‘I was like, ‘What’s going on with that?’ But then I realised he was hitting on my girlfriend at the time,’ Keli said.
‘That was his move.’
Keli did not name the former girlfriend involved in the encounter or reveal when the star-studded party took place.
Tommy described Leonardo as the ‘white whale’ of celebrity encounters because even other famous faces are stunned to see him in the wild.

Carrie agreed that the Titanic actor, 51, appeared to be a fixture on the Hollywood party circuit.
‘People do sight him quite often, because he does love a party,’ she said.
‘So when you ask people who they’ve seen at parties, his name does come up.’
Keli rose to fame as one half of electronic music duo Peking Duk alongside Reuben Styles.
He later launched his solo alter ego Keli Holiday in 2021 as an outlet for more personal music exploring romance and heartbreak.
The Canberra-born performer is now in a relationship with media personality Abbie Chatfield. The couple went public with their romance in 2024.
