Tori Spelling recalled entering ‘Evil Alien Conquerors’ with high hopes after her success work on ‘Beverly Hills, 90210.’

Spelling recalled entering the project with high hopes during the podcast.

“I came into this from 90210 and having my forever persona being Aaron Spelling’s daughter, being like, ‘Oh, this is going to be great for me,'” she said.

However, her experience changed as soon as filming began.

“But from the moment I stepped on set, it was like I couldn’t say one word without the director being like, ‘Tori, can you do that again?’ Everything was just, a little bit less, and I was like, ‘Oh my G–,'” she claimed.

She continued, “Comedy, no one ever gave me a note. It was always, ‘Oh my G–, that’s great, go for it.'”

However, as per Spelling, the notes continued regardless of the size of her role or scene.

Tori Spelling described being repeatedly corrected by the director in front of the cast.

According to Spelling, the experience became increasingly difficult, particularly when she felt she was being corrected in front of the entire cast.

“It could be a scene with me and one other actor or a scene with like 20 of us… By the end I knew he’d go through the first take, and then he’d be like ‘Cut!’ And I’m like, ‘Wait for it,’ and he’d be like, ‘Tori…'” she expressed.

She eventually found a way, though.

To cope with the constant scrutiny, Spelling said she turned it into “a comedy routine in my own head, because it got to the point where every line I delivered was just thrown away.”

Evil Alien Conquerors starred Michael Weston as a man who witnessed two extraterrestrials, played by Chris Parnell and Diedrich Bader, fall to Earth.

Spelling portrayed Jan, one of the aliens, who attempted to disguise her “big furry unibrow and furry feet” while appearing human.

Despite her prominent role, Spelling remained uncredited in the film. She explained that her agent had personally submitted the request.
