In tonight’s Big Brother episode, tonight was Live Eviction night! Drew, Lyric, and Melody started out on the block together. Haley was the HOH behind it. She doesn’t really get along with any of them and so it was fine when she nominated all three.

She probably also suspected the showmance between Drew and Melody. People be hating on showmances for no good reason. Lyric was full on with Rome so the hate in that case made sense. The one with the these two on the block tonight are genuinely sweet together. It was also frustrating with the people working with them.

Or the people they thought was working with them. Melody and Mallory had befriended Lyric early on. They liked her. They just now realized that Lyric couldn’t be trusted and that’s the same girl that was ready to throw Mallory under the bus that first week. Melody had been standing next to her ready to agree.

It was only once Mallory survived that they realized that they should stay friends with her so it makes sense that Mallory was shocked by their true nature. It just didn’t make sense why Melody was shocked.

Melody should’ve seen that coming. She now knows how it feels to be in Mallory’s shoes. She’s been counting on Drew because Drew was friends with everyone and yet Drew knew he couldn’t save them both tonight.

It had to be one or the other. Dee spoke to Devens. They then spoke to Angela. They convinced her that Drew should stay. Angela weighed the pros and cons. She determined that he was a big enough target in the house to hide behind. He doesn’t seem to be aiming for any comps. He plays it in the middle.

It was him doing this that upset everyone because no side was sure if they could trust him. The hard part was talking Haley out of gunning for him. Haley didn’t care about the Toolshed alliance as much as she did with the Red Corner.

Haley thought Drew was a snake and she wanted him out for siding with Melody. Melody seemed to be the one she has most issues with. Though it should be said that she wouldn’t getting rid of Lyric either. Haley’s problems with Lyric goes all the way back to when Rome was in the house.

The nominees got to show off their puzzle skills in the BB Blockbuster. For someone not interested in comps, Drew still managed to pull off a victory. He didn’t mind running around and celebrating. He did so right in front of Melody too. Is the showmance already over? Or does he depend on his friends to keep Melody around for him?

Melody didn’t really build much alliances. She shunned the people she could’ve been working with to side with those willing to betray her at the first instance. She also chose to get buddy buddy with Drew which made her just as shifty to many.

Melody even realized during the live streams that she hasn’t been playing the game the way she wanted to. She seemed truly upset that she let herself get that isolated in the house. Still, it came down to either Lyric or Melody tonight. The votes were cast. They agreed overwhelmingly to evict Lyric. Mallory also voted against her.

Mallory was in tears about it because she remains a genuine person. She just had to do it because there really was no other choice. And so Lyric did end up going home tonight.

She lost by a vote of eight to three. Lyric was gracious and speedy in her exit. The most stunned by her exit appeared to be Haley. Haley’s jaw was on the floor. Chuk was just as surprised because he was also one of the three that voted to oust Melody. This was a blindside carried out very professionally.

Melody and Mallory took Lyric’s exit the hardest. They were in tears. They were happy they themselves were still in the house but they were still sad to see a friend go home. Lyric’s game play was simply too sloppy.

Haley, Kamu, and Chuk are now going to be looking at their supposed friends demanding answers. The Toolshed blew up. The Red Corners blew up. Haley will want to know who blew up her plan to get rid of Melody because she had been ready to protect Lyric. And they went against the HOH to make her week a loss over a win.

THE END!
