Iceland fans are piling praise on a ‘takeaway’ treat they keep buying from the retailer – and it costs from £2.
The supermarket chain is known for its wide array of frozen foods, as well as exclusive brands, groceries, bulk items, and more. Shoppers can get Iceland goods both in-store and online, and one Iceland dish is racking up top reviews. Iceland’s Takeaway Sweet Chilli Chicken Spring Rolls come in 400g packs and the item has an average online rating of five out of a possible five stars.
Each spring roll, air fried, contains 123 calories, including 3.7g of protein and 0.8g of fibre. The spring rolls are priced at £2.50 – or £2 when bought as part of a current three for £6 deal.
Leaving a glowing review, one happy customer said: “Bought these for the first time I really enjoyed them. Will definitely be a new favourite and a repeat purchase”. A second said: “These were lovely!”
A third added: “Really nice spring rolls, lovely filling, so much flavour, good spice level”. The spring rolls can be cooked from frozen -or defrosted – in the oven or air fryer.
Other products in Iceland’s Takeaway range include chicken tikka masala, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and Shanghai beef noodles. Many of these are available within the two for £6 offer.
The stellar reviews come after a similar convenience dish has also wowed shoppers over. Iceland’s Kitchen Joy Thai Cube Chicken Panang Rich Coconut and Lime Curry with Jasmine Rice (350g) is priced at £2.75, or just £2.50 as part of a two for £5 deal currently running in store.
The pack contains 512 calories, and this product also boasts an impressive average rating of five out of five stars on the Iceland website. Happy customers have hailed it “the best frozen meal I’ve had” and “very similar to authentic restaurant and takeaway versions”.
