BARRY Manilow has been forced to cancel a concert – just hours before he was due onstage, amid his ongoing health battle.
The legendary crooner, 83, was diagnosed with cancer last year, and even had an operation to remove part of his lung.
Sadly, last night Barry was forced to cancel his gig that was due to be held at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
Revealing the news on social media, the star’s team posted: “Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight’s show in Lexington has been rescheduled.”
Fans rushed to show their support for Barry, with one penning: “Hope you’re ok Barry!! He wouldn’t have cancelled it , unless it was serious.”
Another wrote: “Hope you’re well, Barry. We love you.”

Some fans revealed that they were actually queuing in line for the concert when they were told the show would not be happening.
The Rupp Arena also shared their own post, where they revealed that tickets for the cancelled show will be honoured for the rescheduled concert.
It comes four months after the New York singer was forced to cancel another concert that was in Ohio.
Barry has had a tough time over the last year when it comes to his health.
In November, the much-loved star, who has fans all around the world, revealed he had been diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer, after he went to see the doctor for a pain in his hip.
The following month, Barry underwent surgery where he had part of his lung removed.
Sharing a picture at the time from his hospital bed as he recuperated, the star said: “As many of you know I recently went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a relapse of another five weeks.
“Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everything was OK.
“The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed.
“It’s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early. “
Music legend Barry’s career spans six decades with global hits including Could It Be Magic, Copacabana and Mandy.
