The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 10, reveal that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will deal with a major medical crisis, so Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will find the Abbott family stuck in more turmoil when she lands back in Genoa City,
At the hospital, Diane will be in a desperate fight to survive after getting jabbed with whatever fatal substance was in Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) syringe.
The doctors will work on Diane, but it’s easy to imagine her ending up in a coma despite their best efforts.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and the others may try to shield Jack from info regarding Diane’s ordeal since he just woke up.
Jack’s own recovery could be fragile, so there could be concerns about him facing a setback.
However, Jack may eventually get the news that Patty has done more damage and worry he could lose Diane for good.
As for Ashley Abbott, her comeback stint will kick off on Friday’s Y&R episode.
Ashley will reel over everything the Abbotts are going through and do her best to support Jack in his time of need.
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll have to decide if he’s willing to leave with Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) for a London trip.
Jill will hold out hope that once they’re away from Genoa City and have a chance to talk alone, she can finally make amends with Billy.
Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will wrestle with her condition since she’s living in the dark at the moment.
Although Nikki’s surgery was a success, she’s still wearing eye bandages.
Even after those bandages eventually come off, Nikki can’t know for sure whether her sight will go back to normal.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will announce something unexpected.
Will Victor’s announcement affect his future with Nikki or could this be about something related to business instead?
It might even tie in with Victor’s plans for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), so it’ll be interesting to see what’s next on Victor’s agenda.
