EMMA Roberts’ dad Eric skipped her wedding as he breaks his silence on missing her big day.
The American Horror Story actress, 35, tied the knot with her partner Cody John on Saturday in a lavish Idaho wedding but her dad was noticeably absent.
Eric, who himself is one of Hollywood‘s most prolific actors, has now opened up about not attending the ceremony.
The 70-year-old told Page Six: “I love my daughter, always have, always will.
“It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.”
It’s unclear why Eric was absent from the wedding or if he was even invited in the first place.

The father and daughter have had an up and down relationship with one another over the years.
However, in April this year, Eric, who is the older brother of the iconic Julia Roberts, claimed they were not estranged.
While speaking on ‘Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson’, he said their relationship “is only complicated through outside eyes … because they don’t get any of it.”
“So they have their own take, whatever that is,” he divulged.

Eric and ex-partner Kelly Cunningham welcomed Emma in February 1991 but separated just seven months later.
Emma and Cody said “I Do” in front of the rest of their close friends and family, including her mom Kelly and aunt Julia.
A source told Page Six that the ceremony took place in 95-degree weather and lasted about 45 minutes.
Emma looked gorgeous in a white chiffon wedding gown that featured a high slit as she held onto her son Rhodes’ hand as they walked down the aisle.
Cody, 29, looked stylish in a black tuxedo as he stood at the altar reading his vows to his new wife.
The couple got engaged back in July 2024, after nearly two years together.
At the time, Emma shared a photo of herself and Cody with the caption, “putting this here before my mom tells everyone.”
In the selfie, she was shown hugging her new husband while showing off her engagement ring on her finger.
Emma shares a son, Rhodes, with her ex-boyfriend, actor Garrett Hedlund.
The pair have co-parented Rhodes since the news of their breakup came out in January 2022.
“It’s been easy for Emma to co-parent with Garrett in a healthy way because she is so happy,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in October 2022.
