The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) update for Monday, August 17, reveals that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get swept up in their emotions and their deep need for comfort.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will also unleash his rage, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on B&B.
For starters, Ridge’s rage will spiral out of control now that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has hurt Steffy and driven her away.
Finn kept secrets about Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) trip to Monaco and didn’t take a firm enough stand against her, so Ridge will continue to fume over his son-in-law’s behavior.
Although Finn will promise he’s going to make it up to Steffy, he has to find her before that can happen.
Finn will eventually head back to Los Angeles and hope he can track Steffy down there ASAP.
The idea of losing Steffy forever horrifies Finn, so he won’t want to let his mind even go there.
Finn will just brood on the long flight home and try to convince himself that some better news is ahead.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy will give Carter more Monaco details and cry over having to leave Finn.
Although Steffy hoped they could overcome their Sheila issues, she now feels like she has to end things and put her children first.
That’s why Steffy believes Finn won’t be her husband for much longer.
Carter will admit Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) doesn’t want to be his wife anymore either and that she’s going back to Paris.
Steffy will realize Carter is in just as much pain as she is, so she’ll feel an intense connection with him.
Carter has been Steffy’s friend for a long time, but something will shift and leave them feeling more than platonic in this moment.
Steffy and Carter have been guzzling plenty of booze, so they obviously won’t have clear heads and won’t be able to make good choices.
Carter and Steffy will just know they don’t want to deal with all these negative emotions, so they’ll try to replace them by feeling something else.
It looks like Steffy and Carter will make a huge mistake by caving in once temptation bubbles up.
The clothes may start coming off before they ultimately do the deed in the Forrester CEO office.
