Travis Kelce was proudly wearing his new status as a married man as he arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for his first Kansas City Chiefs game since tying the knot with Taylor Swift.
The NFL star, 36, made sure his yellow gold wedding band was on full display as he headed into GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday ahead of the Chiefs’ preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams.
Travis cut a cool figure in a matching black tie-dye T-shirt and shorts, teamed with sneakers and dark sunglasses, but it was the new addition to his left hand that immediately caught fans’ attention.
The tight end carried a canned drink in his left hand as he walked into the stadium, giving photographers a clear look at the gold band just six weeks after his spectacular New York City wedding.
The Chiefs shared footage of their veteran player’s arrival on social media, writing “Year 14” over the clip in celebration of Travis beginning his 14th NFL season. He signed a new one-year deal with Kansas City earlier this year.
Swifties were quick to zero in on his wedding ring, with one joking in the comments: “oh he’s now left handed like his wife,” alongside a ring emoji.
“Showing off that ringgggggg,” another fan wrote, while a third described the piece as Travis’ “new hardware.”
The appearance comes after Travis spoke publicly about his wedding for the first time earlier this week, describing the couple’s July 3 nuptials as the “best night of my life” and proudly referring to Taylor as his “wife.”
Taylor, also 36, has been spotted wearing her own wedding band since the couple said “I do.”
The Cruel Summer singer stepped out solo in London on Wednesday, looking glamorous in a floral mini dress as she left private members’ club Annabel’s. Her outing came while Travis was back in Kansas City preparing for the new football season.
The pair married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3 in front of an estimated 1000 guests after three years together.
Taylor walked down the aisle in a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, while Travis wore a white Dior tuxedo. His brother Jason Kelce served as best man, while Taylor’s brother Austin Swift was her Man of Honor.
The star-studded guest list included famous faces from music, film and sport, with Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Paul McCartney among those celebrating with the couple.
