Inversely, the news that Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner is set to appear in the cast of the Mister Miracle show (as per showrunner Tom King’s interview with Entertainment Weekly about the Mister Miracle series) means this is the fifth DCU release that a Green Lantern will appear in already, based on Gardner appearing in Superman and Peacemaker season 2, being announced as part of the upcoming cast of Man of Tomorrow and the Mister Miracle show, and he and fellow Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart being a core part of Lanterns as well.
This has effectively marked a complete flip in the Green Lanterns’ on-screen fates, as we’ve gone from seeing barely any sign or trace of the hero faction, to them being one of the most consistent aspects of the DC Universe, which makes a lot of sense given how this early era of the cinematic universe has been set up overall.

Cinematic universes thrive on reliable connections and ties between releases and different corners of a franchise, which is immediately one of the most apparent explanations for why Guy Gardner is making rounds in the DCU throughout a wide range of releases.
