Queen Rania‘s daughter Princess Iman welcomed her twin daughters into the world on Friday, and now, just hours after giving birth, their beautiful names have been revealed.
Sharing a joint statement, the new parents, Iman and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, revealed the special chosen names for their bundles of joy: Talia and Rania, the latter Iman’s mother.

“The most merciful has honoured us with the arrival of our precious twin daughters:
Talia and Rania. We ask Allah to bless and protect them, and to fill their lives with light, blessings, and happiness. Iman and Jamil.”
Iman’s twins are King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s third and fourth grandchildren. Their first grandchild, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa’s daughter, Princess Iman, was born in August 2024.
News of the tiny royals’ arrival
News of Talia and Rania’s arrival was announced by the Royal Hashemite Court.
“The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Princess Iman and Mr Jameel, as well as to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion,” the court said in a statement.
Iman’s older brother, Crown Prince Hussein, celebrated the news, writing on his Instagram Story (translated to English): “Thank God for the complete grace and great favour, beautiful blessing and faith.”
The newborns join big sister Amina, making Iman and Jameel a family of five and now parents to three daughters.
Their birth comes just over a month after Queen Rania revealed that her daughter Iman was pregnant.
© Handout“The grandchildren club is growing, and we couldn’t be happier for Iman, Jameel, and soon-to-be big sister Amina!” the Queen penned alongside a sweet family photo showing Jameel holding Amina as she touched her mother’s blossoming baby bump.
The beaming grandmother also wrote: “A new joy is on the way… Congratulations to Iman, Jameel, and my darling Amina, who will be a big sister. May God grant you a safe delivery and bless your future.”
Princess Iman first became a mother in 2025 with Rania, once again sharing news of her daughter’s pregnancy just one month before she gave birth.
