Pooh Shiesty Says NLE Choppa ‘Is Gay’ During Leaked Jail Phone Call With Woman
Back in July, audio leaked of Shiesty, born Lontrell Denell Williams Jr., talking with a woman about NLE Choppa, born Bryson LaShun Potts, and his baby mama, Marissa Da’Nae Rogers.
During the call, the woman was talking about Marissa and another woman. Shiesty replied, “They weird as sh*t.” He then added, “Her baby daddy gon’ kIll her.” The woman said, “Sh*t, her baby daddy is gay.” Shiesty laughed and agreed, “On God, he gay.” The woman laughed and added, “He gay as f**k.” The woman continued, “Marissa, don’t know. She don’t be doing what she want because…”

The audio leak arrived after reports claimed Shiesty is expecting a child with Choppa’s baby mama, Marissa. In a post to her Instagram, Shiesty’s mother, Gladys Baines, said her son is a father-to-be. She wrote, “I’m staying strong for my granddaughter!!!! @poohshiesty.”
Social media users quickly began speculating that the mother’s child could be Marissa. The ultrasound photo shared by Shiesty’s mother allegedly showed Marissa’s full name. However, neither Shiesty, his mother, nor Marissa confirmed the rumors.
NLE Choppa Responds To Pooh Shiesty Calling Him ‘Gay’ During Leaked Jail Phone Call With Woman
Months after the audio leak, Choppa has directly addressed Shiesty, whom he thought was an ally. On Friday (August 14), Power 106’s Justin Credible dropped a new freestyle featuring NLE Choppa.
On the freestyle, Choppa told his haters to “stop playing on his name.” He rapped:
“All love, I ain’t trying to start hating / Got my name in conversations / Pillow talking like a baby / Where the G’s, we’re addressing this / The message ain’t directed / If you can’t respect it then make sure you don’t disrespect me.”
Choppa also shared a clip of the fiery bars to his Instagram Story and tagged Shiesty. The caption read:
“@poohshiesty, showed way to[o] much love to you for you to be pillow talking on my name TO A FEMALE. I’mma show you how to be direct homie. Free you tho. Tell 30 hit me up.”
