Farmer Wants A Wife contestant Eddy has gone public with a new romance just weeks after viewers watched her relationship with Farmer Alex fall apart.
The 28-year-old Queensland lawyer confirmed the news on Instagram this week, sharing a series of loved-up photographs with her new partner, Australian-based Frenchman named Matthis.
Several pictures also featured Eddy’s beloved dog, Whiskey.
Eddy joked in the caption that her boyfriend had supported her through some unusual circumstances – including having to watch her date another man on television while their own relationship remained under wraps.
She finished the affectionate post by declaring that she and Whiskey loved him.
The announcement comes after Eddy and beef and mushroom farmer Alex confirmed during the show’s reunion episode that they had separated shortly after filming ended.

Alex had dramatically chosen to leave the dating experiment early with Eddy after becoming convinced she was the woman with whom he wanted to build a future.
Their relationship proved divisive among viewers, with some questioning whether their differing views on religion would become a long-term problem.
Nevertheless, Alex said he had developed ‘tunnel vision’ for Eddy and remained determined to make their romance work away from the cameras.
However, speculation that the couple had already separated began circulating before the reunion aired.
Alex later revealed Eddy had started to withdraw before ending their relationship during a brief video call.
The disappointed farmer admitted he struggled to understand the sudden change, saying he had wanted to continue working through their differences.
He used the reunion to seek answers and gain closure, later telling The Morning Show that the former couple had not even said goodbye after their tense discussion.
Despite the painful outcome, Alex maintained that he did not regret choosing Eddy or leaving the program with her.

‘At the time, it felt really right for me,’ he said during the episode, recalling their chemistry and easy conversations.
Eddy offered a different perspective, explaining that a post-show road trip with Alex made her question whether they were truly compatible.
After spending time apart, she concluded that continuing the relationship would have been unfair to them both.
Eddy also described Alex as more ‘intense’ than she was accustomed to and said they were ultimately very different people.
Their conflicting attitudes towards religion became another major obstacle.
Alex claimed he had been clear that he did not want to raise his future children within a religion and believed Eddy had initially been willing to compromise.
Eddy, however, realised after filming that her Christian faith remained an essential part of the future she envisioned.
Although Alex said he respected her position, he believed she ended their romance before they had been given a proper opportunity to make it work.
