CALL Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper is set to shut down her business in a latest blow after receiving toxic workplace claims.
Alex has been building her empire since she launched her podcast in 2018 alongside her former co-host Sofia Franklyn.

But now, one of her businesses – Unwell Beverage – is officially shutting down, according to a report.
The business first launched in 2025 with Unwell Hydration (electrolyte drinks), before rapidly expanding to include Unwell Focus, Unwell Protein and Unwell Energy.
Alex’s drinks brand will wrap up sales following the final transactions of Halloween-themed beverages this fall, Bloomberg reports, citing sources from Target Corp.
Target, one of America’s largest retail chains, is the business’ primary distributor.
The mom-to-be created the company in partnership with Nestlé SA after noticing that “energy drinks or any type of hydration drinks,” are all “catered to men.”
Alex previously said: “If you go on their Instagrams, the packaging is for men, and a lot of time it has to do with high performance, like you have to be a professional athlete to drink this, and it’s all made for men, by men, marketed to men.”
While drinking those drinks, Alex claimed she felt “exhausted” and “hungover” even though she wasn’t drinking.
“I was like, ‘Why am I so tired? I have bags under my eyes,’ and every time I would grab something that was hydrating, it either tasted really s****y, or there was just so much sugar in it,” she said.

The businesswoman also founded the brand, Unwell Network, which is a Gen Z-focused media and lifestyle company housing numerous influencer and celebrity podcasts.
This comes after Alex’s husband and business partner Matt Kaplan was accused of creating a toxic work environment at Unwell Productions.
Her co-chief executive officer Matt, 42, allegedly “berates” staffers and even regularly leaves them in tears, according to an explosive report from Bloomberg.
Sources close to Unwell said Matt is constantly in conflict with staff members.
According to the outlet, Matt runs most of Unwell’s day-to-day operations while Alex focuses on running her hit podcast Call Her Daddy.
Matt’s close involvement with Unwell has allegedly led to tension within the company – with Matt earning a reputation for yelling at staff.
The issues have reportedly grown so serious, employees have threatened to walk off the job at shows and live tours if Matt doesn’t stay away.
After logistical issues meant that Love Island USA star Kendall Washington wasn’t able to compete on Alex’s new YouTube show Unwell Winter Games, Matt “berated” production staff, according to sources.
He “threatened to prevent them from ever working in Hollywood again,” resulting in a crew member breaking down in tears, the outlet reported.
Staff members allegedly filed formal complaints and told leadership they would quit if Matt didn’t change his behavior.
