General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 13, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) thwarted Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) retaliation while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) faced his verdict and the heartbreaking news that he was headed to Pentonville.
After Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) showed up with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) at the courthouse, she gave Curtis some support.
Once court was back in session, the jury found Curtis guilty of the assault on Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
Curtis was sentenced to 10 years in prison with the possibility of parole in two, so he was crushed.
Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) told Curtis they could appeal, but he didn’t have high hopes for it changing anything.
However, the judge agreed to give Curtis 48 hours before he had to report to Pentonville.
Portia returned home to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) on Thursday’s GH episode, so they learned Curtis didn’t get the outcome he wanted in court.
Curtis came over soon after and requested some private time with Desmond Ashford’s (Yirah Aviah Lafond), so he held his son outside and admitted he had to go away for a while.
At Bobbie’s, Trina felt guilty for pushing Curtis away recently and missing out on valuable father-daughter bonding.
Kai reassured Trina before leaving her to work on her music alone.
Someone watched Kai leave and then turned their attention to Trina as they gazed through the window, so Trina’s stalker was obviously outside.
After Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) shared an emotional moment with Curtis, she headed to the Metro Court Gardens and crossed paths with Isaiah.
Isaiah pointed out that he only wanted justice – not to wreck Curtis’ life.
Jordan questioned that stance since Isaiah must’ve known he couldn’t have one without the other.
At the Quartermaine estate, Willow came back to get the children and was shocked when Michael announced he had proof she shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
After Michael revealed Trina and Kai’s signed affidavits and explained the ringtone situation, he suggested phone records would back that up.
Willow tried to dismiss all this, but Michael wasn’t having it and pointed out double jeopardy didn’t apply in family court.
Michael threatened to take this evidence to the judge and cut off all contact from the kids if Willow didn’t do exactly what he said.
At one point, Willow grabbed a nearby rolling pin off the counter and tried to attack Michael with it, but he was quick enough to stop her.
Once Michael ordered Willow to move back in the gatehouse, she strongly objected and felt she’d essentially be his prisoner.
However, Michael stood his ground since he wanted to keep a closer eye on Willow, who would also have to surrender her passport and stop traveling alone with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sienna Goerisch).
After Willow relented on Michael’s demands, she snarled over hating her ex.
A smug Michael suggested that considering Willow’s track record, she’d have no problem hiding it.
While Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gave Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) a pep talk regarding her love life, she couldn’t help but watch Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) nearby at the Metro Court pool.
Britt showed up to reconnect with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who was shocked and relieved to learn she didn’t have Huntington’s disease after all.
Rocco complained about his helicopter parents, but Britt understood their concerns since Rocco ran off with her before.
Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had another run-in with Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) at the pool, which brought more bickering over the hunt for other CEO candidates.
Back with Anna, she faced a vision of “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey), who urged her not to let Britt threaten her wonderful relationship with Emma.
Anna ultimately suggested a weekend getaway for Emma and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to get them out of the way while she carried out her plan.
Afterward, Anna approached Britt, so they traded apologies over their recent confrontation.
Britt was elated when Anna acted like she was willing to dig for more Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) details, but she warned that it’d have to be off the record and they could only meet in person.
Once Anna was alone again, “Peter” reappeared and praised her for how she played that.
According to “Peter,” all Anna had to do now to spring her trap was set up a meeting and make sure the place was discreet.
“That way, when Britt shows up asking what you have on Cassius, you can eliminate her once and for all,” the Peter hallucination said.
