CHICAGO (WLS) — The Chicago area is under an Accuweather Alert as more storms with powerful winds are forecast Tuesday.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for northern Illinois, parts of Iowa and Wisconsin until 2 p.m.
A Severe T-Strom Warning was issued for Jasper County, Indiana until 9:30 a.m.
The FAA repots Chicago O’Hare airport has delays averaging 144 minutes.
Most of the Chicago area is under a Level 3 risk for severe weather Tuesday.

ABC7 meteorologists said the timeframe for storms is between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The National Weather Service said the main threat will be destructive wind gusts that could reach up to 80 miles per hour.

As for the White Sox game, meteorologists say it should be welcomed with quiet weather conditions.
