A developing trough is pushing the region’s warm weather system east, lowering Monday’s Valley highs to the mid and upper 90s.
Temperatures will continue falling through the week, although warm moisture will make conditions muggy and increase Sierra thunderstorm chances Tuesday through Saturday.
Valley highs will settle into the upper 80s and low 90s through next weekend and potentially into the following week.
