Hannaford recalls deli, produce items due to potential salmonella contamination

MANCHESTER, N.H.

Hannaford Supermarkets is recalling select deli and produce products from its shelves after potential salmonella contamination, the company said on Saturday.

Hannaford said their recall comes from “an abundance of caution” as the company was alerted to a voluntary broader recall by jalapeno supplier Coast Citrus Distributors.

The chain said all impacted products have been removed from their shelves, and customers who bought products impacted by the recall should not eat them and can return them to their local Hannaford store for a full refund.
