PGA Tour golfer Brian Harman went viral at the 3M Open in late July when he, for reasons unknown, flipped off the cameras. Harman was back at it again before missing the cut at the Wyndham Championship this weekend.
The PGA Tour posted a video showing Harman listing off all of his preferred requirements for his daughter’s future boyfriend, even though his daughter is only 10 years old.
“My daughter’s 10, and at some point or another, she’s gonna bring somebody home and introduce me,” Harman said. “If he can’t spiral a football back to me, we got problems.”
It’s unclear if Harman’s desire to become a perfect outdoorsman is part of the required material for his daughter’s future partner, but he did rattle off an extensive list.
“A dear friend of mine, we came up with a list to be a perfect outdoorsman,” Harman said. “Being able to double haul a fly rod, being capable with a rifle at certain distances, being able to shoot a compound bow at 40 yards. If you could do all these things, then you could go anything. If I can clean one fish, I can clean most fish. If I can clean a deer, I can clean a deer, an elk, a moose, and then that sort of evolved into, well, you oughta know how to change a tire. You oughta know how to change your oil.”

Harman whipped out his phone to list off even more requirements, including an ability to negotiate and shuffle a deck of cards, understanding cardinal directions, and making a cocktail.
Harman showed the camera the full list on his phone, and it is at least 25 items. As exhaustive as it seems, Harman clarified, “It’s not an all-inclusive list. I would think if you could do 90% of the things on the list, you’re pretty capable.”
Harman has been married to his wife, Kelly, since 2014, according to PEOPLE, and they share three children: daughter Cooper, son Walter, and son Jack.
