A HUGE name in British music has cancelled their Las Vegas residency – just a week before the first show.
Morrissey was due to play a four-night residency at the Wynn Las Vegas from Friday, August 14.
But the former frontman of The Smiths will no longer take to the stage in Sin City, as his team has announced the shows have been cancelled due to “unforeseen logistical challenges”.
The dates have also been removed from the Wynn’s website.
Morrissey, 67, has unfortunately built a bit of a reputation for cancelling gigs in the past year.
In November last year he pulled out of a string of shows due to “extreme exhaustion”.
While in March this year he cancelled a gig in Valencia, Spain “due to sleep deprivation”.
In 2026 he has also axed shows in the US including St. Petersburg, Florida, St. Louis, San Diego and Atlanta.
The Atlanta date was cancelled due to “artist illness”.
British fans will be hoping the star – who has hits including This Charming Man and Suedehead – will honour the UK arena dates he is set to play later this year.
Morrissey has five arena dates lined up in December in Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds.
The star first rose to fame with The Smiths in 1982 before he launched his solo career in 1988.
