DC adds a new color to Green Lantern lore, bumping the ultra-powerful White Lanterns to second place in the Emotional Spectrum’s power ladder. Although the Green Lantern Corps are the center of DC’s cosmology, each Corps draws strength from an emotion that can equal or even surpass the Green Lanterns. For instance, the Sinestro Corps have repeatedly pushed the Green Lanterns to the brink through fear alone, the Red Lanterns channel uncontrollable rage into devastating destructive force, and the Orange Lantern’s avarice grants Larfleeze command over an entire army of energy constructs formed from those he has consumed.
DC has introduced several additional forces beyond the seven primary Corps. The Black Lantern Corps are particularly dangerous, as they can resurrect the dead as terrifying servants who retain the memories and abilities they possessed in life, fueled by Nekron and the power of death. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the White Lantern Corps channels the Life Entity itself, granting its bearers extraordinary reality-restoring powers, resurrection abilities, and access to every emotional light simultaneously. More recently, the Ultraviolet Corps revealed the Invisible Emotional Spectrum, which draws power from hidden negative emotions buried deep within the subconscious.
The Emotional Spectrum works as a carefully balanced cosmic system, as each light possesses unique strengths that complement the rest. These forces are also represented by the Emotional Entities, the purest form of each emotion. So, when all Entities come together, they can create the most powerful source of light possible.
Guy Gardner Becomes The Chrome Allsight

Despite his promotion to Allsight, Guy Gardner and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps find themselves outmatched by the threat of the Manhunters. However, Guy and Jessica Cruz get transported to the Emotional Expanse, where they come to a mutual agreement of protection with all the Emotional Entities. When Guy returns, he sports an all-chrome version of his Allsight robe, his eyes glowing silver, and with enough power to contain the Manhunters and wipe their programming clean “from inside.”
The White Lanterns gather the energy of all colors of the Emotional Spectrum to power their all-white constructs, which requires them to balance willpower with love, hope, compassion, fear, rage, and avarice. Instead, Guy Gardner’s chrome Allsight form allows him to choose individual parts of the Emotional Spectrum, and he derives this pure version of each light from the Emotional Entities themselves. Guy uses rage to knock back Aya’s Manhunter counterpart, then fear to restrain her, and compassion to muffle her.

Guy Is Now The Heart Of The Lantern Corps
Famous Lanterns like Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and Kyle Rayner have received similarly drastic upgrades, but Guy Gardner stands out because he started his journey as an immature hothead who didn’t understand the significance of wielding a power ring. Early in his career, Guy’s short temper placed him at odds with fellow Green Lanterns and the Guardians of the Universe. Even after proving himself countless times in battle, his recklessness made him an unreliable hero. Fast-forward to 2026’s Green Lantern Corps, and the duty of establishing a direct connection to the Emotional Entities themselves lies squarely on Guy’s shoulders.
Guy’s Allsight powers boosted his power and awareness, but the credit for negotiating with all Emotional Entities and bringing them together goes exclusively to him. The Entities’ shared power is unprecedented in the DC Universe, and Guy is now the personal guardian of the entire Emotional Spectrum, exercising authority and restraint across every Corps. His service with the Green Lantern Corps, his time as a Red Lantern who ultimately mastered rage, and his repeated willingness to place himself in impossible situations all prepared him for a role that requires simultaneous control over every emotion.
