Josh Hart reminded fans just how important Karl-Anthony Towns was to the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals on Thursday.
Hart took to social media to shout out his teammate.
The response was to a fan discussing Towns deflecting a pass in the final seconds of Game 4. The Knicks ended up winning that game 107-106, giving them a 3-1 lead against the San Antonio Spurs.
The rest was history as New York closed things out in Game 5 to win its first title since 1973.
Towns didn’t post huge numbers in the Finals, but plays like the one he made in Game 4 reminded everyone why the Knicks traded for him in 2024.
Towns, Hart and the rest of the Knicks will look to make it back-to-back titles next season, but the second one could be even more challenging to win than the first.
