Logo Designer Allan Peters Apologizes After A$AP Rocky Called Him ‘Distasteful’ & Canceled Their Collab Following Leaked DMs
Logo designer Allan Peters is admitting he mishandled A$AP Rocky’s private business inquiry after the rapper canceled plans to work with him.
“He sent me a new business inquiry. I got excited. I posted it. I thought he’d take it as a compliment,” Peters said in an Instagram video.
“I took it down. I apologized to him,” he added.
The dispute began after Peters shared a screenshot of Rocky’s direct message, which read, “Good morning Allan. How much do u charge for brand logo revisions? Assuming you would be willing to do so I would be honored, love ur work, god bless.”
Peters captioned the post, “I have no words.”
Rocky was not impressed by the public reveal and responded in the comments, “This is just distasteful.”
“Well I guess we won’t be working, best of luck buddy,” he added.
Peters, who has more than one million Instagram followers and documents his design process, later deleted the screenshot.
The incident unfolded as Rocky wrapped the North American leg of his Don’t Be Dumb tour. His AWGE collective recently criticized “selective coverage” of the tour while highlighting multiple sold-out arena dates.
Was Allan wrong for sharing the messages?
