General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is set to leave the show this fall, so many fans have questions about his upcoming exit.
Who will be responsible when Brennan ultimately takes his final breath?
Now that Soap Opera Network’s sources are pointing to Brennan facing a deadly outcome, we have to consider how his demise might play out.
There’s a good chance Jack will be murdered or at least become a victim of a showdown that goes wrong.
Brennan made an enemy out of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) when he blackmailed him, so who knows what Drew’s capable of in his vengeful state?
Drew might be a killer option depending on where his story goes from here.
However, Drew also tried to spook Willow Cain (Cameron Mathison) with talk about the WSB turning on her.
If there’s a situation where Willow eventually feels like she’s facing Jack’s betrayal, we certainly wouldn’t put it past her to wipe Brennan off the map.
Even if Willow doesn’t mean to kill Jack, there might be some scenario where things get out of hand.
There could be a faceoff that ends in tragedy and forces a frantic call to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
If Willow does wind up being to blame for Brennan’s grim fate, it could put her relationship with Nina to the test!
There’s also Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who constantly has her head filled with murderous thoughts thanks to “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey).
If Brennan somehow gets in the way of Anna’s attempt to kill Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), he might get killed instead.
Of course, the WSB might even order Jack’s demise if his corruption becomes too much of a liability.
It’s tough to predict how low Brennan will sink and how he might pay the price for it down the road.
No matter how it happens, it looks like Jack is headed for an early grave.
