As we previously reported, Love & Hip Hop: New York and Baddies ATL star Sidney Starr arrested by local authorities at an Embassy Suites hotel in metro Atlanta over the weekend on multiple charges including sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated sexual molestation, and sodomy.
The 37-year-old reality TV personality and transgender model whose legal name is Sidney Favors, was taken into custody at the infamous Fulton County Jail where she’s currently being held.

According to TMZ, she has since been transferred to the vulnerable population unit for the LGBTQ community because Sidney identifies as a trans woman. Per the outlet, law enforcement officials have placed her in the facility’s vulnerable population section for her own safety while she awaits further court proceedings.

Hapeville Police Department officials confirmed the arrest stemmed from an alleged incident involving a juvenile at the hotel, though law enforcement has kept further details close to the chest due to the victim’s age. In an official news release, police stated, “Because this case involves a juvenile, no additional information will be released from our agency.”
Despite the heavy cloud hanging over her, Sidney isn’t taking the charges sitting down. In an exclusive statement delivered to TMZ, the reality star maintained her innocence, declaring that she “unequivocally denies the allegations against her and intends to vigorously defend herself through the legal process.” She urged the public not to rush to judgment before her day in court, noting, “Allegations should not be mistaken for fact, and public opinion should never replace due process.”
