Another day of sunshine. Temperatures are starting to warm up as southerly flow returns. Western Kansas was much warmer than central Kansas today, with some spots hitting the triple digits.
Tomorrow will be a toasty one with highs above 100° in the western half of the state. Central Kansas will see the mid to upper 90s with strong southerly flow.
Rain chances will track from Colorado into the Sunflower State on Monday evening. Storms will try to hold together but eventually fizzle out across central Kansas. This will be the trend we repeat for the middle of the week, with scattered rain chances in western and northern Kansas.
Temperatures start to inch back towards the triple digits for the entire state by next weekend. The bubble of high pressure will strengthen once again and keep the summertime sizzle in place through the middle of August.
