The Connecticut Sun are on the road Thursday night as they travel to take on the Chicago Sky in an Eastern Conference matchup.
Connecticut enters Thursday’s game with a 7-21 record after losing on the road to the Washington Mystics Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s loss to the Mystics, Aneesah Morrow led the way for the Sun as she recorded 21 points, four rebounds and four assists while Olivia Nelson-Ododa added 16 points, six rebounds and three blocks of her own.
The Sun will try to bounce back and snap their three-game losing streak Thursday as they face off against a struggling Sky team on the road.
Chicago enters Thursday’s contest with a 9-18 record after losing on the road to the New York Liberty on July 22.

Sydney Taylor led the way for the Sky in their loss to the Liberty as she ended the game with 31 points, three rebounds and three assists while Courtney Vandersloot recorded 14 points and four assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

The Sun have two players listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Brittney Griner and Aaliyah Edwards.

Connecticut has ruled out Griner due to a left knee injury as she will miss her third consecutive contest.
The Sun have also ruled out Edwards as she will miss her third straight game due to a right knee injury.

The Sky have four players listed on their injury report, including Azura Stevens and DiJonai Carrington.
Chicago has ruled out Stevens as she is away from the team due to personal reasons as she will miss her first game since May 20.

The Sky have also ruled out Skylar Diggins as she will miss her eighth straight game with a right knee injury while Rickea Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
Carrington has been listed as questionable and she is expected to make her season debut Thursday after missing the beginning of the year while recovering from left foot surgery.
