Malik is a small guard who did a good job making an impact at the PG spot. He played with pace, athleticism, and open-floor pressure as he constantly got into the paint. He created off the bounce, showed vision, and processed the game at a high level. His creation ability helped him to bend the defense. He has good burst yet enough poise to make simple reads off the bounce, and have controlled paint touches. He has a quick first step and his handle makes him tough to contain.
Caleb is an off-guard with shot-making ability and a knack for creating his own offense. He often got into the paint and if he wasn’t converting his own looks, he was dropping dimes to teammates. His shot making ability is where a lot of his impact is made. He has timing operating off the dribble and is a deliberate slasher who attacks the rim, but he is going to have to continue working on his handle against heavy pressure. Caleb will hurt you if you give him room to operate.
Kashdan is a lead guard who showed a downhill attacking guard package with pull-up touch and floater ability. He has a knack for getting into the lane and finishing before the size arrives. He has a good feel for running the show and lived in the paint.
Everett is a combo guard with positional size and length. Offensively he has a mature floor game as he showed patience, shot creation, and three-level scoring ability. He got to spots, created space with the dribble, and did not rush the catch. He exploited mis-matches and showed inside-out versatility. He can get down hill in a hurry as he showed a willingness to take the ball into the teeth of the defense and his drive and dish game showed flashes.
Christian is a small guard who did a good job running the show for the team he was on. He showed a quick first step, change of speed, toughness in the open floor, and multi-level scoring touch. He can create rhythm off the bounce, was not limited by his size amongst bigger guards, and his speed helps him to create advantages of the bounce. He may be small but he has a high PG IQ.
Jaelyn is a combo guard who showed quick burst and the ability to get to the cup. His first-step pressure forces rotations and put the defense in recovery. He was extremely tough to deal with and not too many had success slowing him down once he got attacking downhill. His speed helps him to get to his spots and create open looks, but while his speed is a strength he showed the ability to mix up his speeds on drives to create open shot angles.
