Emmy Nominations 2026: See the Full List Here

The wait is over: The first Emmy nominations 2026 have been revealed on the Today show. Soon, the rest will be unveiled by Liza Colón-Zayas and Jeff Hiller, a pair of fan-favorite winners from recent ceremonies.

Going into Wednesday’s announcement from the Wolf Theatre in the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center, Vanity Fair predicted that a handful of series would walk away with multiple nods. That list included The Pitt, which won three awards last year, including best drama; Love Story, a VF favorite that got a new generation obsessed with Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy (and, perhaps to a slightly lesser extent, JFK Jr.); perennial Emmy favorite Hacks, which wrapped up its run on HBO Max earlier this year; and Pluribus, a slow burn that reunites Better Call Saul cocreator Vince Gilligan with Saul star Rhea Seehorn—and may finally get her the Emmy she so richly deserves.

Surprises could still happen on Emmy-nomination day, especially because two of last year’s biggest winners—limited series Adolescence and freshman comedy favorite The Studio—aren’t eligible this cycle. That’s great news for their competitors, as the Emmys have a habit of rewarding the same projects over and over again.

We do know a few things for sure, though—namely, that the ceremony will air live September 14 on NBC and Peacock, and that it will be hosted by Emmy winner and TV royalty Mariska Hargitay. Hargitay has had quite a year: She recently made her Broadway debut, replacing Daniel Radcliffe in the Tony-nominated one-person show Every Brilliant Thing. She nabbed courtside seats during the Knicks’ storybook championship run and an invite to Taylor Swift’s wedding. She also debuted her first feature directorial effort at Cannes in May of last year: an emotional documentary about her mother, Golden Age Hollywood bombshell Jayne Mansfield, in which Hargitay revealed that her biological father is not Hungarian bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay, the man who raised her.

Presumably, she’ll get into at least some of that in her opening monologue. In the meantime, here is a full list of 2026 Emmy nominees, updated live as they’re announced.
