Manchester United have announced the signing of teenage winger Tynan Thompson from Tottenham Hotspur.
The highly-rated 18-year-old had come through the Spurs academy, featuring on the bench for the first team last season.

Despite having a year left on his contract, Thompson has made his switch to Old Trafford where he is likely to begin with the U21s with reports suggesting that the Red Devils are promising a progression to the first team over the course of the season.
The England youth international was particularly impressive in last season’s UEFA Youth League, where he scored seven goals in seven games for Tottenham, including a hat-trick in the 9-1 win over Slavia Praha.
