Episode 4 of the series, \u201cDeepthroat,\u201d confirms that fact by directly parodying Hines\u2019 current husband, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and his (idiotic) anti-vaccine views.<\/p>\n<p>In the sketch, the mother of Jonas Salk (David in drag) is bragging to her neighbor Evelyn (Judy Gold) about her son inventing the Polio vaccine \u2014 a situation that escalates when another neighbor named Bobby (Gregg \u201cJeep\u201d Perrie) starts yelling about how \u201cthat vaccine\u2019s gonna kill people. It\u2019s gonna give them heart attacks!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/larry-david-mocks-rfk-jr-hbo-show-1236806043\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">As <i>Variety<\/i> reports<\/a>, David and Kennedy were once friends, with David actually introducing Hines to Kennedy \u2014 but the friendship died after Kennedy aligned himself with the current presidential administration.<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the sketch, David\u2019s character cries that \u201cIf some idiot, some moron, ever put you in charge, that would be a dark day for humanity.\u201d Then, \u201cBobby\u201d is taken away to a psychiatric ward.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, <i>Pursuit of Unhappiness<\/i> featured a sketch in which David and Rob Reiner\u2019s George Washington <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/07\/rob-reiner-life-larry-episode-2-guest-star\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruthlessly mocked President Trump<\/a>.
