But when their panel ended, the sports stars got into a heated exchange that ended with Brady slapping Paul in the face. New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and Chris Costa quickly stepped in to help break things up before things got out of hand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tFanatics posted the clip on social media \u2014 with Brady, Paul, WWE and the NFL as collaborators on Instagram \u2014 and the footage went viral instantly, with more than 17.5 million views on Instagram and 6.9 million on X. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBrady and Paul\u2019s feud began in February when Paul said his WWE career made him as athletic as NFL players, which Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champ, did not appreciate. The pair continued trash-talking one another ahead of and during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tFor the Fanatics Fest dustup, the audio of the sports stars\u2019 heated conversation is largely inaudible, so Paul hopped online to offer his side of the story.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThis happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me?? Horrible example for the kids,\u201d Paul wrote on X, reposting a clip of the incident. \u201cAura -100,\u201d he added. \u201cBlocked. With a torn tricep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBrady kept his explanation short and sweet, firing back with one word: \u201cDork.\u201d He also replied to Paul directly, commenting, \u201cI tried America\u2026 will try again next time I see this nerd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMany commenters wondered if the altercation was staged. Paul is a professional wrestler, after all, and, on Thursday, Brady expressed his interest in getting into the WWE.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI need to get an invite. I\u2019ve been waiting for [WWE president] Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix,\u201d Brady told WWE superstar Cody Rhodes during a live taping of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/I07mko_hkmk?si=1TxQq0juvGXd-J1v&amp;t=172\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> \u201cWhat Do You Wanna Talk About?\u201d podcast<\/a> at Fantastics Fest. \u201cI feel like I\u2019m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I\u2019m a little bit of an athlete. My boy [Rob Gronkowski\u2019s] done it. I\u2019ve seen, obviously, Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAnd if Brady were to enter the ring, he said he\u2019d probably be a heel. \u201cI\u2019ve always been a bad guy,\u201d he said, explaining that because he was usually on winning teams, the opposing fans loved to hate him. \u201cWhen you go on the road and you\u2019ve had some success in the NFL, they don\u2019t like you. It\u2019s an incredible feeling when you work that entire day to basically try to send the crowd home early.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSo, will Brady and Paul eventually work things out in the WWE ring?
