While there are still plenty of decades-old properties like <em>Star Wars<\/em> that are still pumping out projects<em>, Avatar<\/em> isn&#8217;t even 20 years old. It&#8217;s hosted three films so far, with <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/avatar-4-movie-release-status-updates\/\" target=\"_blank\">the next one tentatively due out in 2029<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<p>You could say it&#8217;s still a fledgling franchise, but it sure doesn&#8217;t act like one, given how much money it makes and how there are already theme park attractions dedicated to it. We won&#8217;t have to wait years for the next <em>Avatar<\/em> drop, though. It&#8217;ll be available globally, and playable on PS5, as well as PlayStation Portal.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who weren&#8217;t aware that there was an open-world <em>Avatar<\/em> game, <em>Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora<\/em> was released in 2023, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It incorporates the world of the film, and you&#8217;ll play a Na&#8217;vi on Pandora from either a first-person or third-person perspective (the latter was added two years after launch and is live in the current build).<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a swift overview of what you&#8217;re getting yourself into: <em>&#8220;Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person, action-adventure game set in the open world of the never-before-seen Western Frontier of Pandora. Abducted by the human militaristic corporation known as the RDA, you, a Na\u2019vi, were trained and moulded to serve their purpose. Fifteen years later, you are free, but find yourself a stranger in your birthplace. The first is <em>Sky Breaker<\/em>, which features a mysterious shadow in the sky and additional missions against the RDA. You&#8217;ll play as a Na&#8217;vi named So&#8217;lek, and the DLC shifts to a third-person viewpoint (though first-person is still available), while taking on the Ash Clan.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora<\/strong><\/em> seems done with DLC for the moment, but there&#8217;s a lot of open world there to explore with what we&#8217;ve got.<\/p>\n<div
