I still can\u2019t really believe I got to be a part of it. I fell in love with the place the second I walked through the door. Lorne (if you\u2019re reading this on your burner account) I want you to know that I am forever in your debt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cEvery day I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the best people in the business, and I was constantly amazed watching them work. Sewing a [JoJo] Siwa costume in 10 hours. Writing a cold open at 2pm on a Saturday. Finishing the VFX of a video minutes before dress (I don\u2019t know if \u2018finishing VFX\u2019 is the right technical term but you get the idea).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">I\u2019m definitely not the first to make this observation but it really is funny looking back at it all now, because at the show you get so invested in everything you work on. You sob uncontrollably when your sketch isn\u2019t picked. You storm into a producers office telling them they just made the biggest mistake of their lives. You call everyone you know to complain. And then you look back a few years later and it was a sketch called \u2018lipstick for thicc dogs.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">But that\u2019s just the show. You respect it so much that you give it absolutely everything you have even when it\u2019s incredibly stupid. So you\u2019re ecstatic when it works out and the most devastated you\u2019ve ever been when it doesn\u2019t. And in the end it doesn\u2019t matter all that much but it did at the moment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">It\u2019s really hard to leave <em>SNL<\/em> but it does feel like the right time. I\u2019m going to miss it a lot. But the people who work there are my family and that place is my home, and I know I\u2019ll never be too far away.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">And I swear to God, one day, sometime in the future, they WILL make lipstick for thicc dogs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Fineman\u2019s most viral sketches include <em>Snack Homiez<\/em>, <em>Forever 31<\/em>, and the Domingo series with Marcello Hernandez. She also portrayed Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Sydney Sweeney, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Coolidge, and Anna Delvey throughout her run.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of <em>SNL<\/em>, Fineman faced backlash this past April after telling the story of <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/chloe-fineman-video-pantsing-boy-vanity-fair-1236709346\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">pantsing a six-year-old boy<\/a> in a <em>Vanity Fair<\/em> video interview with her castmates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was fired as a camp counselor,\u201d Fineman said. \u201cI pantsed a boy. He would lift my shirt all the time. It was a different time. He would be like, \u2018Hey, could I have a hug?\u2019 And then I\u2019d go to hug him, and he\u2019d lift my shirt, like a dick.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cAnd then I was like, \u2018I\u2019m going to get back at you.\u2019\u00a0And so we were on a hike, and I was like, \u2018Hey, Ollie, go look over there. It\u2019s a hawk.\u2019 He looked, and then I yanked his pants down, and then I was fired.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some of the comments and reactions have since been <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/chloe-fineman-video-pantsing-boy-vanity-fair-1236709346\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">edited out of the video<\/a>, but the story remains no less shocking.<\/p>\n<p>Fineman is currently in negotiations for her potential next project, a Netflix drama series titled <em>Myron Bolitar<\/em>, based on Harlan Coben\u2019s book series.
