As she continued to discuss the lingering hot temperature, the cockroach leaped onto her microphone before flying away into the night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew it was on me,&#8221; the journalist <a href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/news\/local-news\/i-knew-it-was-on-me-ktla-reporter-powers-through-live-report-as-cockroach-crawls-on-her\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer\">explained to the outlet<\/a> after the incident. \u201cBut I knew if I took notice of it, I wouldn\u2019t be able to continue on with the report.
