The thrash metal legends and the comic book company previously collaborated on the graphic novel adaptation of the band\u2019s album <em>Among the Living<\/em> in 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vivid-seats.pxf.io\/c\/1882189\/952533\/12730?subId1=anthrax%2Aoral-illustrated-history-button&amp;subId2=&amp;subId3=&amp;sharedid=&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vividseats.com%2Fanthrax-tickets%2Fperformer%2F4554\" class=\"button button-ticket\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Get Anthrax Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The new graphic album sees a number of artists from across the comic landscape adapting stories of Anthrax\u2019s lives and career, from their early days seeing KISS and befriending Metallica and Pantera to the long arc of their thrash metal career including their Public Enemy collaboration and appearance on <em>Married\u2026 With Children!\u00a0<\/em>The deluxe edition also includes a 12\u2033 greatest-hits picture disc featuring the band\u2019s Notman character.<\/p>\n<p>Artists on the graphic album include Peter Bagge (Hate) Jay Howell (Bob\u2019s Burgers) Danny Hellman (Legal Action Comics), Sean Pryor (The Illustrated Al), Erik Rodriguez (Hispanic Batman), Steve Chanks (Guitar World), Patrick J. McQuade (MAD Magazine), Jim Mahfood (Grrl Scouts), Sawblade (Terrorat), Brent Engstrom (Garbage Pail Kids), John Bergin (Golgothika), Abimael Hernandez (Frizzle Fry), Montos (Blondie), Zach Gross (Space Junk Punks), Pat Moriarity (The Rocket, Real Stuff), JayJay Jackson (Marvel, Valiant), Franco Aureliani (Tiny Titans), Steve Kurth (Dee Snider), Luke McGarry (Vans Warped Tour). Gavin Schultz (Kickflip Comics), and Maan House (Estuary).<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante stated, \u201cBeing a band for 40+ years you have stories, you have experiences, and the way we\u2019re telling the stories and experiences with Z2 is a great way for us and the fans to actually visualize these little stories in comic book form. I think once people see it, they\u2019ll get a laugh out of it because these stories are true! Nothing is fabricated here. They\u2019re one of the most innovative, fearless bands in heavy metal, and every collaboration pushes us to raise our game.
