I said, do you have an ass? We have a little song about a tapeworm. Just for fun today, I\u2019m going to name the tapeworm \u2018Oasis\u2019\u201d He then encouraged the audience to chant \u201cpull Oasis out your ass.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>The chant is the latest chapter in the long-running feud between System of a Down and Oasis, stemming from comments Noel Gallagher made in 2001 around the release of the album <em>Toxicity<\/em>. Gallagher said to a radio station at the time, \u201cI\u2019m actually alive to hear the shittiest band of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For what it\u2019s worth, <em>Consequence<\/em> named <em>Toxicity<\/em>\u00a0one of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/list\/best-albums-of-2001-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best albums of 2001<\/a>, as well as one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/list\/best-metal-albums-of-all-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best metal albums of all time.<\/a> We also listed System of a Down as one of the metal acts who <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/list\/10-more-metal-acts-who-deserve-rock-hall-induction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deserve induction into the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> following Iron Maiden\u2019s induction this year.<\/p>\n<p>The concert chant follows a post from last year, where Malakian edited a photo of himself at Wrigley Field in Chicago to read, \u201cFuck Oasis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SOAD are currently set to headline <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/10\/sick-new-world-fest-vegas-texas-2026-lineups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sick New World<\/a> in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 24th, with <a style=\"display: inline !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/vivid-seats.pxf.io\/c\/1882189\/952533\/12730?subId1=sick-new-world&amp;subId2=oasis-tapeworm&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vividseats.com%2Fsick-new-world-festival-tickets-fort-worth-texas-motor-speedway-10-24-2026--concerts-music-festivals%2Fproduction%2F6169022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">tickets available here<\/a>.
