Lindsey gave an update on her health journey to <em><a class=\"hm-link he-link\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/lindsey-vonn-reveals-her-ankle-is-still-broken-5-months-after-olympics-exclusive-12020367\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\">People<\/a><\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0on the red carpet, sharing that she was grateful to be on the mend.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"euKUdV-vr3os\" data-wc=\"41\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;It&#8217;s been a very slow process,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;It&#8217;s been five months since I&#8217;ve been able to actually go to the gym in a somewhat meaningful way. And walking is actually still really hard for me. My ankle is still broken.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"eoCuFNNxjapQ\" data-wc=\"47\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;I was in a wheelchair for so long, I was on crutches for so long,&#8221; the Olympian continued. &#8220;It was honestly almost three and a half months that I was unable to walk unassisted.
