{"id":7506,"date":"2026-07-16T09:39:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T04:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=7506"},"modified":"2026-07-16T09:39:42","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T04:39:42","slug":"lana-del-rey-announces-stove-companion-album-spyda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=7506","title":{"rendered":"Lana Del Rey Announces Stove Companion Album Spyda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script>\r\n  atOptions = {\r\n    'key' : '644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6',\r\n    'format' : 'iframe',\r\n    'height' : 90,\r\n    'width' : 728,\r\n    'params' : {}\r\n  };\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script src=\"https:\/\/www.highperformanceformat.com\/644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div xmlns:default=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" data-id=\"1611999\" data-title=\"Lana Del Rey Announces Stove Companion Album Spyda\" data-url=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/07\/lana-del-rey-stove-companion-album-spyda\/\" data-page=\"1\" data-pages=\"1\">\n<p>Fans patiently awaiting <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/lana-del-rey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lana Del Rey<\/a>\u2019s new album <em>Stove<\/em> are apparently being rewarded with a second companion album called <em>Spyda<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Del Rey revealed the existence of <em>Spyda<\/em> in an Instagram post on Wednesday night, revealing that the project, came about as she continued work on <em>Stove<\/em>. \u201cI need a month to finish putting [<em>Spyda<\/em>] together,\u201d she explained, \u201cand then send my two albums to vinyl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the dual projects, Del Rey wrote:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cSo much has happened over the last four years, so much time waiting for things to come together and so much time wondering if it was ok that things were falling apart. Patience was the key, and in between the songs came new thoughts about old friends and new dreams and from the doubt of whether the tree I had been planting would grow- came new sprouts and so grew a new rose bush underneath the willow-\u2026A large companion album, compiled by as many people as I could find to help me gather my thoughts about how much was changing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Stove<\/em> is so lovely and intact as it was intended to be-a classic album if I may say, a lot of of which we\u2019ve toured and you\u2019ve heard \u2013 but not all of it. Thank you to everybody involved.<br \/>And as the years went by, came a beautiful, secondary album\u2026 A commentary of sorts on everything that has been going on, and the patience that was required- and the trust I had to have that not all the things that weren\u2019t working was just because of me. I\u2019m grateful for all my collaborators, I guess it took what it took to finish it. I need a month to finish putting it together, and then send my two albums to vinyl.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cThank you for waiting. It certainly is two of my most beautiful pieces of work, rooted in what I thought would be made out of growth and joy but was peppered with a secondary compilation of songs that sprouted from doubt, hopefulness, and the understanding that new beginnings truly mean starting completely fresh and over. When life decides to send you down another river, it\u2019s really not your choice and it\u2019s truly an adventure of its own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI wrote about it. Now it\u2019s time to trust the process and go downstream. I\u2019m so grateful to everyone who\u2019s still on board with me. And of course, I wish the best to everyone who stayed on land. Of course I understand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Del Rey did not provide a release date for either album, but she did appear to share the artwork for both projects, which you can view in the Instagram carousel below.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stove<\/em> and <em>Spyda<\/em> will mark Del Rey\u2019s first full-length releases since <em>Did You Know That There\u2019s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd<\/em> in March 2023.
