In hip-hop, only a select number of rappers have achieved such accolades.<\/p>\n<p>Not long after Drake dropped the video for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xpVfcZ0ZcFM\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221;<\/a> in 2018, he said it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/news\/2018\/02\/drake-gods-plan-most-important-thing-hes-ever-done\/\">one of the most important things he\u2019s ever done<\/a>.\u00a0One year later, the Grammy Award-winning lead single from <em>Scorpion<\/em> helped the megastar earn his first diamond plaque\u00a0from\u00a0the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.riaa.com\/gold-platinum\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Recording Industry Association of America<\/a>.\u00a0Not only did &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; top\u00a0the Billboard Hot 100 for more than 11 weeks,\u00a0but as of 2025, Drizzy&#8217;s hit has officially been certified 16 times platinum. Drake now has 15 total diamond songs\u2014the most for any artist ever. He alos has a diamond album, with <em>Take Care<\/em> surpassing 10 million unites in October of 2025.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/tags\/eminem\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eminem<\/a>, one of the highest-selling and all-around\u00a0most successful hip-hop artists ever, has crafted a\u00a0number of albums and singles that have sold\u00a0in excess of 10 million copies.\u00a0He&#8217;s earned diamond plaques for\u00a0the Rihanna-assisted &#8220;Love the Way You Lie,&#8221; 2010\u2019s &#8220;Not Afraid&#8221; and his classic anthem &#8220;Lose Yourself,&#8221; as well as the albums <em>The Eminem Show<\/em> and <em>The Marshall Mathers LP<\/em>.
