Another showed she had bruising on the inside of her left bicep.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The woman had bruising on the inside of her left bicep.  <span class=\"credit\">Davie Police Department<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Smith, however, seemed to have wounds of his own following the altercation.<\/p>\n<p>One picture showed he had a few marks on his face and a second photo appeared to show a knot on the back of his head.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Geno Smith had several marks on his face following the incident with the woman. <span class=\"credit\">Davie Police Department<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Smith appeared to have a knot on the back of his head. <span class=\"credit\">Davie Police Department<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to a Davie PD incident report, Smith and the woman had quarreled over childcare.<\/p>\n<p>Smith, per the report, said he employed the woman in a managerial role and \u201cone of her assigned tasks\u201d was \u201cto occasionally care for his autistic child.\u201d He also stated he and the woman occasionally engaged \u201cin sexual activities; however, in a lighthearted and unserious manner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith claimed that when the woman returned Smith\u2019s child to his home, a \u201ccommotion\u201d occurred on the property, and when he looked into it, he saw the woman leaving with what he believed was his property.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The investigation into the alleged battery incident occurred on June 21. <span class=\"credit\">Davie Police Department<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Smith said the two then got into a physical confrontation that he alleged was initiated by the woman punching and pushing him.<\/p>\n<p>The woman, meanwhile, said Smith was the aggressor the situation, alleging the former second-round pick grabbed, choked and hit her during their heated disagreement.<\/p>\n<p>Davie PD investigators wrote in their report that \u201cdue to the inability to review surveillance footage, conflicting stories, and lack of independent witnesses,\u201d they were ultimately \u201cunable to determine the primary aggressor in the physical altercation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>No arrests were made and the case status was <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/14\/sports\/police-finish-investigation-against-jets-geno-smith-after-troubling-social-media-post\/\">changed to \u201cinactive\u201d<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Smith, who was traded from the Raiders to the Jets this offseason,\u00a0and the woman have yet to publicly comment on the situation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/07\/15\/geno-smith-assault-investigation-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a> was first to post the images on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<script async=\"async\" data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/pl30214220.effectivecpmnetwork.com\/9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<div id=\"container-9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\"><\/div>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The woman who alleged Geno Smith roughed her up during a dispute at the Jets quarterback\u2019s Florida mansion last month was left bloodied and bruised following the alleged incident, newly released police photos show.
