class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">\u201cThe Voice\u201d contestant filed in Nashville last month, citing irreconcilable differences, People magazine reported. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">She posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaxpDQ8OIGa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaxpDQ8OIGa\/\">Instagram<\/a> this week about the end of the relationship, saying it \u201chas not been an easy decision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">The couple shares a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Rae, whom she refers to in the post. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">The singer and Davis married in 2015 after meeting at church three years earlier. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">She said that they reconnected at a mutual friend\u2019s wedding and then messaged him. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m so thankful that God gave me my person really at a young age,\u201d she said in 2020. \u201cI needed a solid person in my life \u2014 and he\u2019s easy on the eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">He was a financial advisor who enlisted in the Army after their wedding, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/raelynn-files-for-divorce-husband-josh-davis-10-years-of-marriage-12018928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\" title=\"https:\/\/people.com\/raelynn-files-for-divorce-husband-josh-davis-10-years-of-marriage-12018928\">People<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">She had pledged not to get a divorce after living through her parents\u2019 split and after writing her 2016 song \u201cLove Triangle,\u201d which was about her parents\u2019 divorce. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jyMHRV body-paragraph\">\u201cI know personally from growing up with my experience, divorce is not an option for me and Josh,\u201d she told <a href=\"https:\/\/tasteofcountry.com\/raelynn-marriage-divorce-love-triangle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer\" title=\"https:\/\/tasteofcountry.com\/raelynn-marriage-divorce-love-triangle\/\">Taste of Country<\/a>. \u201cIt will never be, because I believe that love is hard work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p
