He was 68.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod called my dad home today,\u201d his son <strong>Jackson Bryce <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dat2A8dDF2U\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer\">wrote on Instagram.<\/a> \u201cWhat began as stage three esophageal cancer eventually spread and became brain tumors that took his life away from him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But despite the challenges, Bryce\u2019s son noted the strength with which his dad battled his disease.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough radiation, chemo and immunotherapy, and every moment of pain, I watched my dad face it all with pride and courage, and an unshakable belief that somehow, everything would work out and he would win,\u201d he continued. \u201cMay his strength and relentless belief forever live within me. He fought the hardest and most honorable fight I have ever witnessed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But as Jackson looks to the future, he is taking comfort in the legacy his dad has left behind.
