id=\"anchor-920dfb\" class=\"body-graf\">The women were splashed with sulfuric acid on June 15 when people on a moped targeted them in their car as they drove by, officials said.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-0ee744\" class=\"body-graf\">\u201cAll six victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries that included skin burns and peeling,\u201d said Kim Wallace Scalcione, a spokesperson for the Jersey City Public Safety Department.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-368915\" class=\"body-graf\">Three teens, 13, 14 and 15 years old, were arrested, Scalcione said, without saying when. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-dfbe55\" class=\"body-graf\">They each are accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury and additional crimes. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-029d8a\" class=\"body-graf\">The Public Safety Department said the incident appears to have been targeted and \u201cmay have stemmed from an earlier dispute among a large group.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-c53c77\" class=\"body-graf\">It previously said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/5-women-injured-new-jersey-people-moped-throw-acid-rcna350276\" target=\"_blank\">five women were injured<\/a> but clarified in an update that there are six victims, including three teens.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-911aeb\" class=\"body-graf\">One of the victims, a 21-year-old woman, was taken to a burn unit last month \u201cto be treated for second-degree burns to her face and scalp,\u201d Scalcione said.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-b32e33\" class=\"endmark
