rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">officer in Missouri<\/a> is being praised by the Department of Homeland Security after stopping to provide lifesaving medical care to a driver injured in a serious crash, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\" class=\"speakable\">DHS praised ICE officer Curtland Sawyer for helping save the motorist&#8217;s life after witnessing the collision while driving home.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">According to DHS, Sawyer, who is assigned to ICE&#8217;s <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_us_article_main-content_article-body_6_812662\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/travel\/vacation-destinations\/st-louis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener driver&#8217;s arm to stop life-threatening bleeding.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Sawyer remained with the injured driver until emergency medical technicians arrived to provide further treatment, DHS said.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">&#8220;ICE <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_us_article_main-content_article-body_6_812664\"
